Frequently Used Acupoints:Houxi (SI3)
Houxi (SI3, the Stream acupoint, Eight confluent acupoints of the extra ordinary meridians)
Location
Slightly making a fist, at the posterior end of the distal palmar crease of the 5th metacarpophalangeal joint, at the junction of the red and white skin.
Indications
Stiffness and pain in the neck and head, deafness, redness of the eyes, sore throat, night sweat, febrile diseases, epilepsy, malaria, and spasm and pain in the fingers, elbow and arm.
Method
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-0.8cun, moxibustion is applicable.
