Shangyang(LI1, the Well acupoint)
Location
On the radial aspect of the index finger, about 0.1cun posterior to the corner of the fingernail.
Indications
Swelling and pain in the throat, swelling of the submandibular region, febrile diseases, and faintness.
Method
Puncture obliquely upward 0.2-0.3cun, or prick to cause bleeding, moxibustion is applicable.
