Xiyan(EX-LE5)
Location
In the depression on both aspects of the patellar ligament when flex the knee, the medial acupoint is maned as Neixiyan(EX-LE4) and the lateral one is maned as Waixiyan.
Indications
Pain in the knee joint and leg, arthroncus of the knee joint and beriberi.
Method
Puncture obliquely toward the middle of the knee 0.5-1cun, or prick through the opposite Xiyan, moxibustion is applicable.
