Location
0.5cun directly above the posterior hairline, below the spinous process of the 1st cervical vertebra.
Indications
Aphasia with glossoplegia, sudden loss of voice, headache, stiff neck, stiffness in the spine, apoplexy, mania, epilepsy, and hysteria.
Method
Puncture slowly toward the mandible 0.5-1cun in the erect sitting position with the head bowed, moxibustion is prohibited.
