Location

On the anterior midline, superior to the thyroid cartilage, in the depression superior to the hyoid bone.

Indications

Swelling and pain of the subglossal region, retracted tongue, salivation with gloosoplegia, stiff tongue, dry mouth, more of tongue and mouth, and aphasia due to apoplexy.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-0.8cun without retention of needle, moxibustion is applicable.
