Tuina treatment of insomnia Ⅲ

2. Wipe the forehead separately for 3 to 5 times, cooperated with pressing Jingming(BL1) and Yuyao(EX-HN4).
3. Sweep out the bilateral courses of the gallbladder meridian, in coordination with pressing Jiaosun(TE20).
4. Grasp with five fingers from vertex and then with the three fingers to the occipital bone, cooperated with grasping Fengchi(GB20) for about 2 to 3 minutes.
5. The patient takes a prone position. The doctor applies rolling on the back , concentrating on Xinshu(BL15), Ganshu(BL18), Pishu(BL20), Weishu(BL21), Shenshu(BL23) and Mingmen(GV4), for about 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Push with one-finger Qi concentration or knead Xinshu(BL15), Ganshu(BL18), Pishu(BL20), Weishu(BL21), Shenshu(BL23) and Mingmen(GV4), each acupoint takes 1 to 2 minutes.

Dialectical Addition and Subtraction
1.Dual vacuity of the heart and spleen: press and knead Xinshu(BL1), Ganshu(BL18), Weishu(BL21), Xiaochangshu(BL27), and Zusanli(ST36), 1 minute for each acupoint. Rub the left side of the back horizontally and the governing vessel vertically until it is warm in the local area.
2.Yin vacuity with effulgent fire: Push Qiaogong on the one side for 20 to 30 minutes, then the other side , rub Shenshu((BL23) and Mingmen(GV4) horizontally, and Yongquan(LI1) until it is warm in the local area.
3.Phlegm-heat harassing the inner body: Press and knead Zhongwan(CV12), Qihai(CV6), Tianshu(ST25), Shenmen(HT7), Zusanli(ST36) and Fenglong(ST40), 1 minute for each acupoint. Horizontally rub the left side of the back and Baliao acupoint until it is warm in the chest area.
4.Liver depression transforming into fire: press and knead Ganshu(BL18), Danshu(BL19), Qimen(LR14),Zhangmen(LR13) and Taichong(LR3), 1 to 2 minutes for each acupoint. Rub hypochondriac region with the palm up and down for about 1 minute.

Note
Eliminate concerns and avoid rage. Avoid smoking, drinking alcohol or tea before bed time. Develop healthy life habits and do some physical work and exercises every day appropriately. Do some physical word and exercise to strengthen the body. The effect of Tuina therapy to treat insomnia right before getting to bed is much better.
