Location
Tianchong(GB9) is directly above the posterior border of the auricle, 2cun above the hairline, 0.5cun posterior to Shuaigu(GB8), Wangu(GB12) in the depression posteriorinferior to the mastoid process behind the ear, Fubai(GB10) on the curved line joining Tianchong(GB9) and Wangu(GB12), at the junction of middle 1/3 and upper 1/3 of the line, Touqiaoyin(GB11) at the junction of middle 1/3 and lower 1/3 of the line.
Indications
Headache, stiffness and pain in the neck, toothache, and goiter.
Method
Puncture subcutaneously 0.5-0.8cun, moxibustion is applicable.
