Weiyang(BL39, the Lower-sea acupoint)
Location
At the lateral end of the transverse popliteal crease, medial to the tendon of the biceps m. of the thigh.
Indications
Stiffness and pain in the low back and spine, spasm and pain in the leg and foot, motor impairment in the leg, distension and fullness in the lower abdomen, and dysuria.
Method
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1cun, moxibustion is applicable.
