Jiache(ST6)
Location
One finger-breath anterosuperior to the mandible angle where the masseter m. is prominent in clenching the teeth.
Indications
Deviated mouth and eyes, swelling in the cheek, lockjaw, toothache, and pain in the neck.
Method
Puncture perpendicularly 0.3-0.4cun or puncture subcutaneously 0.7-0.9cun toward Dicang(ST4), moxibustion is applicable.
