Frequently Used Acupoints:Waiguan(TE5)

Waiguan(TE5, the Connecting acupoint, Eight confluent acupoints of the eight extra meridians)
Location
On the line joining Yangchi(TE4) and the tip of the elbow, 3cun above the transverse crease of the dorsum of the wrist, between the ulna and radius.
Indications
Headache, redness of the eyes, tinnitus and deafness, febrile diseases, pain in the hypochondrium, pain in the shoulder, elbow and fingers, and motor impairment and pain in the upper extremities.
Method
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1cun, moxibustion is applicable.
